the bluebell woods

I managed to grab some time out with my family last Sunday. What was a perfect afternoon, we took ourselves off to the bluebell woods in Oxted, Surrey, enjoyed a picnic in a clearing, doing are best to not trample these beautiful flowers which looked more like a blue carpet. I even managed to catch H reading the book in which my photo of her is used on the cover.

This was cheeky monkey's First Holy Communion and i was there part guest part photographer to capture the day.  Fantastic day had by all , thank you M&L for all your hard work.

Music on Fire

I was honored to be invited to cover the press launch of this years Music on Fire event at The Royal Military Academy in Sandhurst. Although I shoot for magazines on occasion this was a whole new world for me, i really was in there with the paparazzi fighting to get my shots.

This years theme is James Bond, so in true 007 style we had the opportunity to shoot this years special guest star Hayley Westenra along side a beautiful Aston Martin.

Hayley, really was a star (and even helped me carry a prop when the first one mysteriously disapeared!) and a pleasure to work with.

I am sure the event will be a resounding sucess if last year's comments are anything to go by.

my favorite little lady bug

I have been so bad at updating the blog lately so expect a few extras over the next couple of days.  As the title says , this is my favorite little lady bug, never to miss an opportunity i pulled the camera out for 10 minutes while she showed me round her new garden.
